Welcome to the Philadelphia Folk Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Philadelphia Folk Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Philadelphia Folk Festival This three-day family-friendly festival of music, dance, crafts, camping, campfire singalongs, storytelling, juggling and special children's activities is one of the most important folk music gatherings in America. It takes place on Old Pool Farm just outside Philadelphia.
At once a musical and artistic showcase, the folk festival also has a deep tradition of serving as a miniature weekend community event. Devotees - some of whom have lost count of the number of festivals they have attended - as well as first timers enjoy camping on the festival site and ample space is available. The Philadelphia Folk Festival is a family-oriented event.
